Fast C-bug.exe

Hey guys cnext.exe fix is a real simple one:eek3: It would seem that the issue arises due to a lack of the correct permissions being assigned on installation of the Crimson driver (fixed release 15.11.1). Follow my simple procedure below to cure this annoying bug:banana: go to crimson install folder (Program Files/Program Files x86), go cnext folder, go cnext.exe, right click cnext.exe, select properties, select security tab, click edit button, now ensure 'Allow' box is ticked for all users & admin, apply once done, reboot Pc, no more cnext.exe issues Hope this helps those with the cnext. Vmeyesuper For Windows 7. exe bug as it certainly cured mine. I just know that assigning full perms to user account fixes the issue.' 'Stay Breezy n Be Lucky' 'Btw, did you try the fix?' HI, I just completed the Windows 7 HP 64bit 'upgrade' to Windows 10 64bit.

Fortunately, I only 'upgraded' it on my slightly less powerful, less used Desktop because I am not yet impressed. I turned off many startup programs that I don't need running as soon as the system boots. This is something I've done years ago and not because of Windows 10. However, I know it's far too soon to form a more 'definitive' opinion about Win 10 but at this very early point in the game, I noticed it has not only turned on programs in the startup line, it added some as well.

Samp Fast C Bug

AMD Cnext was off before the upgrade and now it's back on and I don't know why Win 10 would care about this program enough to change the startup status. I never saw anything about CNext that made any difference to me except that it just added to the depletion of memory and cpu resources. So it's been off so long that I've even forgotten what the heck it does. So, is it necessary for Win 10 to have this running? What does it do, exactly? (in plain English, please). Thanks, Rich.

Click to expand.@wingclip, in short, Cnext is a functioning part of the Crimson driver architecture that assists with the management of the GPU's 3rd party visual solutions along with its own proprietary ones.
