Fender Princeton 112 Serial Numbers
I've just scored myself a Fender Princeton 112 Plus Solid State Amp for 50 rods - no foot pedal, but otherwise in excellent condition. For what it is, it sounds great and the reverb is great too, but I'm a little perplexed with the volume and volume control: it packs a huge punch cranked up (haven't taken her past about 5 yet), but it's almost as if 75% of the volume is delivered between zero - and a bees dick past zero.it's very very non-linear.and I suspect will likely prevent me from using it at home much without more control. Is this common with these particular SS amps or is it more likely that the vol pot or some other component is cactus? Suggested causes and remediation options please. (.& yes, it's not a sexy valve amp, but for 50 rods.). G'day Pauln, Perhaps I understated the lack of control I have in the OP.
Gta Vice City Gxt Editor more. The Volume Pot goes from zero to ten right, and if you imagine another 10 graduations between zero and one, I'd say most of the volume cuts in between zero and *point* 3. My fingers just won't let me dial in 1/4 degree increments Yes, I can use both a foot pedal and the guitar volume, but IMO that's all beside the point. I've not come across an amp with such a non-linear ramp up/down of volume and I'm wondering if it's a fault or feature. If it's a fault, I'd like to fix it. If it's a feature, I'd like to change it.
