Firefox For Yosemite
Whenever I try to add or delete bookmarks. Can't add or delete bookmarks- Yosemite. But then the Firefox bookmarks disappeared without me doing anything. Jan 06, 2015 Any idea when Yosemite will support Mozilla Firefox? I updated to Macintosh Yosemite yesterday, and I cannot open Firefox. I had 33.0.1 at the time and have since updated to 33.0.3, but this did not solve the problem.
I've stopped using FireFox because the issues with El Capitan are so bad. With 10.11 it would randomly crash but it would not affect anything else and you could just go to the dock and start it again.
In the 'bug fix' update 10.11.1 a FireFox crash goes much deeper. If I try to relaunch FireFox the icon will just bounce in the dock. Activity Monitor will not show the process but Force Quit will. Force Quit will not, however, force quit it no matter what. At this point I cannot restart or shutdown, and have to do a hard reset via the power button.
Side note: overall 10.11 was bad, 10. Hard Disk Tune-up 2009 Crack here. 11. Cheat Engine Speed Hack Tantra Pictures. 1 is even worse, and I'm contemplating a downgrade to Yosemite or Mavericks. I posted the same thing a few days ago and hadn't seen a response yet. But after piecing together some advice from other sources (none of which directly referenced this specific issue), I did the following tonight and it seems to have solved the issue: 1. Remove the existing Safari installation using Terminal (requires sudo access). Reinstall OS X Yosemite from Recovery (there is no stand-alone download of Safari, so this is the only way to reinstall it) After reinstalling the OS, I launched Safari and didn't see any reference to the Google data. However, it hung for quite a while (spinning beach ball) and I had to force quit the application. When I opened Safari a second time, it went straight to the home screen and I *DID* see the Google data / Keep / Don't Keep text at the bottom. I'm wondering if it wasn't trying to auto-import data from Chrome again the first time (when it hung).
