Rdp 5.2 Xp 7.1
Please bear with me. We are trialing Microsoft RemoteFX for terminal server performance but struggling to get our machines using Remote Desktop Connection. Nov 01, 2009 Now that we have released Windows 7 & Windows Server 2008 R2 to manufacturing, we wanted to share our plans to make the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 7.0.
For all general purposes, I have 2 of the exact same PC. Both run XP Pro w/ SP3 and both have the latest Remote Desktop (updated them with KB969084). Dragon Age Inquisition Dlc Unlocker Cydia. I connected both computers to the same router with hard wires (only LAN, not WAN and no wireless) and then tried to connect each to the other.
Nothing happens. I get the 1/2/3 list of troubleshooting, but have done all of that. I have remote access enabled in the system properties. I have done this with many computers and never had a problem.
The whole point of this is I need to take a laptop to another location so it can monitor the desktop while I make some adjustments to the connected machine. But I can't get anything to connect to it, not even another of the same computer. Oh, and they have general ip address of 192.168.1.100 and 101 Any help?
What versions of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) are supported by recent versions of the Windows operating system, such as Windows XP and later? This is the list of supported RDP versions I have documented: • Windows XP -->5.1, 5.2, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 • Windows Vista -->6.0, 6.1, 7.0 • Windows 7 -->6.1, 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 8.1 • Windows 8 -->8.0, (8.1¹) • Windows 8.1 -->8.1 ¹ There is a bug with RDP 8.1 support on Windows 8.0--meaning it is not available. As of 8/6/2014, this is a known issue Microsoft is working to resolve.
