Aug 7, 2016 Hi, I'm writing to you cause I have some problems with SDLX. I used to use SDL Freelance 2007. Windows 95 Iso Virtualbox Oracle.

I had to update to 2009 recently cause it was necessary to use a converting tool for sdlxliff files from a client. (For this, I downloaded and installed this: 'SDL Trados Studio 2009 Starter SP3', and I tried to used this licence: 'SDL Trados 2007 Suite Freelance (Activation code) - Bundled with version 2011 (cause I though it included 2009 version, but I'm not so sure anymore). Since I did that, when I open and itd file with SDLX, it's always in trial mode, so I get this message: 'software license not valid for use with this file and the word count is above 1000 words. You may continue to edit this file for evaluation purposes ony but you will not be able to save your chances or update the Translation Memory database'. This is problematic cause it prevents me to work. Moreover, when I try to opend the general SDLX interface (the one in which you can split files, etc), it doesn't work at all and I get this message: 'Runtime error! Sdlx.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.' Followed by: 'Runtime error! R6016 not enough space for thread data'. Would anyone know how I could resolve this problem? Since then I installed windows 10 and SDL Trados 2011 but it didn't change anything. I really would like to be able to use SDLX for all non sdlxliff files. Thanks a lot in advance, Juliette.

Hello Juliette, Aug 7, 2016 I'm sure SDL will quickly respond to your license question telling you you return/re-enter your license (which is what I would do), but because there are very few posts about SDLX, may I ask you: Are you able to open any Word file beyond Office 2007? Gadwin Print Screen Crack On Phone. And: Were you able somehow to run a TM through SQL instead of MS-Acess? I ask this because that's a reason why I'm not using SDLX anymore; if this was possible, I would cheerfully return to it. You need a special Java version to avoid troubles with Trados 2007 SP3 and probably also SDLX: For Trados 2007 SP3 to run without problems (may also relate to SDLX), the following 'exotic' Java version must be installed: Java 1.4.2_08 If you have it that's fine. Otherwise get it and: 1) You must deinstall ALL Java versions with a later version of 1.4.2_08. Be sure to save the install packages onto your computer, because you will have to reinstall them later on.

2) If not already done, install java v.1.4.2_08 (part of the Trados 2006 install package, or get it on the net). 3) You should now reinstall all Java versions later than 1.4.2_08 (like 1.5.x, 1.6.x): Do it, because other programs may need those versions to run correctly. I hope this helps you!

Thanks very much for a feedback to my secondary questions above, Greets, Mike [Edited at 2016-08-07 23:34 GMT]. Lia Stansfield Midi Files there.

Update Nov 7, 2012 Hello Colleagues, here's what happened to me: I tried to install trados 2007 and it appears to be working just fine with existing TMs, it creates new ones but when I try to import new.tmx or.txt files the process is extremely (unbelievably) slow making it impossible to work (at least for me, I have to import TMs for every single translation I do. Now, I have Trados 2007 from the SDL website, I use Office 2010 which I have purchased 2 years ago and that worked just fine on my previous computer and a 64-bit version of Windows 8. My revious laptop had a 64-bit version of Win 7 and everything went well. Yet Workbench is not working properlyon my win 8 laptop. I don't understand why at this point. Win 8 64-bit was preinstalled on this laptop, I cannot change the operating system otherwise I'm going to have problems with insurance and guarantee, should anything happen they only pay for the computer as it was when it was sold. My friends told me to use a virual machine, but I have to buy a license for a previous version of windows plus they told me a virtual machine is slower than a real computer.

I don't know what to do now, I'm thinking about returning the computer, but even if I put off this purchase this problem will be only delayed. I honestly don't understand why trados, office and a 64-bit OS are the same, yet on my old computer everything worked fine and on a Win 8 computer it doesn't work well. Any suggestions? My computer broke last week and I had to get a new one. I bought it Yesterday but I just checked and my OS is 64 bit and no less.
